What Do Today's Pastor's Need?

According to a Barna Research survey, 65% of pastors report feeling lonely or isolated in recent months.

Launching in January 2022, CitiServe is a ministry in Cowlitz County designed to strengthen connections among pastors and leaders. By fostering meaningful relationships, we can empower congregations to work together and fulfill God’s vision for our region. CitiServe’s mission is to inspire resilience and unity among leaders, reflecting the spirit of John 17:21, where Jesus prays for believers…

“…that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.”

Jeff Hoover

For over 30 years, Jeff Hoover has quietly dedicated himself to serving the community as the founding Lead Pastor of Evangel Christian Fellowship in Longview, Washington. His genuine concern for nurturing relationships among local pastors speaks to his commitment to the health of the church and its leaders in Cowlitz County.

In January 2022, Jeff launched CitiServe of Cowlitz County, a grassroots initiative aimed at bringing together business, civic, and spiritual leaders. Through this work, he aims to foster collaboration and support, thereby strengthening the community as a whole.
